Bruce co-founded The Princeton Partnership (TPP) in 2002 to give distressed insurance companies a transformational partner. While at TPP he has also assumed CEO responsibilities at Trenwick Reinsurance and is currently CEO of Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers and its subsidiary EmPRO guiding their turnaround. He is a strategic advisor to other financial services companies.
Prior to co-founding The Princeton Partnership, Bruce served as a litigation lawyer and executive creating and executing financial and operational solutions for many (re)insurance companies in distress. Previously, Bruce was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of International Insurance Company (The Resolution Group), which specialized in workouts and discontinued operations, and a member of its Board of Directors. Bruce also led turnarounds at Talegen (f/k/a Crum & Forster) and The Signature Group. Bruce holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, Cum Laude, from The University of Vermont. He is licensed to practice law in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois.
Bruce is a long time avid sailor and enjoys fixing/repairing boats, cars, motorcycles or anything mechanical.
